Jalto27R gets credit for starting this before anyone says anything. I was bored and ran across the old thread in the archive. I was amused that so few replies popped up. Jalto, let's give it another run shall we? I can think of two people who would commit suicide if A.net disappeared. Can you name them?  biggrin
So, what would happen if you woke up tomorrow and there was no A.net?

About half the people here would kill themselves, 1/4th would find themselves listlessly surfing the world-wide-porn, and the last 1/4th would probably be able to pull themselves away from the computer and lead a fullfilling life.

Sadly, for Gkirk and others like him, there's no hope. Offing himself would be the best result, lest he end up in the pornoweb.

If a.net is gone. I would immediately change subject to ferry websites for example http://www.merseyshipping.co.uk because there isn't any other transport related website as good as a.net.
Or I could do something else.

Split Scimitar or Sharklets?

Despite what the two American fuckwits say, I would carry on if nothing has happened. I do have others things to do despite what fuckwit 1 and fuckwit2 would have you believe

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

Yeah, but I would just love to see that in the morning paper.
