If there's a dupe thread, I didn't see it, so my bad ahead of time if there is, and someone point it out to me.
After last week, a bit of a "college gridiron" hangover, no doubt, but some huge games.
-Michigan ignores the pink dressing room at Kinnock Stadium, and stops Iowa's 22-game home winning streak.
-LSU beats Auburn on a missed Auburn F/G at the end of regulation.
-Texas makes a bid to be seen as a team as good as USC.
-Tenessee plays typical Tennesse fooball: turnovers, and choking at at the end.
And my beloved BGSU Falcons are looking at a season not expected. They got hammered 45-14 at home by W. Michigan, and may have lost QB Omar Jacobs for a few weeks with a dislocated shoulder. Only good news it that probably means he'll come back his senior year.

Quoting Falcon84 (Thread starter): -Texas makes a bid to be seen as a team as good as USC.
After them putting up 10 more points vs. TT than they did on us, I don't feel quite as bad now...
...but putting that behind, the Buffs had a routine week, blowing out the hapless Kansas Jayhawks 44-13...we're now in a first place tie with Missouri for the Big 12 North, so in 2 weeks when the Tigers come to town, that game will likely decide the North...
This season has actually been relatively boring, as with the exception of the always exciting CU-CSU game that opened the season, all our games have been decided by at least a 20 point margin...no close finishes (except CSU)...

Again, I have 3 preferred turnouts each week
1. South Carolina wins
2. NC State wins
3. Clemson loses
1. South Carolina wins USC downed Vandy 35-28
2. NC State wins NC State loses to Wake Forest 27-19 as Wolfpack fans continue to wonder when Amato's head will roll.
3. Clemson loses Clemson had no problems disposing of Temple, trouncing them 37-7.

Quoting KROC (Reply 3): And hey Garnet...how can one like South Carolina AND Clemson? Thats like me as a Hurricane Fan wanting Free Shoes University to win every week too.
I don't like Clemson, KROC - check my preferred outcomes again...#3 is that Clemson lose. I mean honestly...orange and purple as your school colors? I still get a smile thinking about former USC QB Steve Taneyhill, who, upon beating Clemson at Clemson his senior year, whipped out a Sharpie, and signed his name across the tiger paw on their 50 yard line.

My alma mater, Michigan State, is reverting to type. They were slightly "flat" at home this week against Northwestern, but there is (probably) a bowl bid out there.

How about STanford's win vs. Arizona State.
It seems like just yesterday that they lost to DIaa UC Davis and now they are in the top half of the Pac-10 with a legit Bowl shot at 4-2

Quoting SYRGuy (Reply 10): Our defense is actually pretty strong this year, not as strong as Miami's obviously as they are #1 in the nation, but better then in years past.
Yeah sure. Pretty strong. They suck more balls than LHMark on Saturday Night so I wouldn't talk them up too much.

October 30 at North Carolina L 31-28
I wouldn't have too much to say after this...against a 3-4 NC team last year

Not gonna happen Free Shoes Fan. You outta be worried about your boys playing Maryland this weekend. Wouldn't want to lose another game to a noverrated Division 1-AA team.

Look Cane fan. Don't hate because the Canes couldn't beat a freshman quarterback playing in his first game. For the record UVa was ranked last week (23) then laid an egg. Not really concerned about Maryland, coach fat ass doesn't seem to have the magic that he had in years past.
Why don't you guys beat VaTech then you can get your ass handed to you in the ACC championship game...again.
