Well no unlike many of you think I'm not asking for your a.net password...

My point is..I'm sure many of you have several email, or website accounts...so here are my two questions?

Are the passwords all the same so as to remeber them better?

Do you often change your passwords(A.net including) for better security?

I use the same password for secondary email adresses or those websites they just ask you to sign up if you want to vision it. For other safer stuff (incl my A.net I have different ones) It makes me a total of 6 passwords, so I don't think I'll forget them.....

Cheers

I have a couple.

Problem is some of them are too short so i've invented new ones for websites that require longer passwords.

I keep a simple one for non-sensitive sites. For bank-related or anything with access to a credit card, its a bit more complex.

I have 4 different passwords for various things.

They all contain a city or a language and a two digit number.

"8xgs3n3m" was one I used to use for everything back in the day.

I've got a number of them, most of them a variation of the original password I started with when I first started surfing the 'Net. A few additional letters here and there. I have another one I started using on some of my older passworded accounts.

All of my passwords and PIN numbers are the same. I suspect my brother found out one of my passwords a couple of weeks ago as I typed into a website as my username instead of my password and my computer remembered it. I even changed my password at work otherwise I would forget it. I've nearly locked myself out of my work computer so many times since I changed it.

Now here's a weird one:

Sometimes if I go out and Mrs Jafa can't be arsed to peel herself off the hammock to go shopping she gives me her debit card, which means i know her pin number. About 20 mins ago my daughter gave me her debit card so i could pick her up a half-acre bar of chocolate, so she had to give me her pin number too........................it's the same as her mother's!!!!!!!!!!!

I use the same or nearly same login/password combo for websites that do not have any sensitive data, such as this site.

Financial data login/password combos are unique to each site. They are so complex that you would need a supercomputer and a chicken to crack the code.  eyebrow
