When I was about 10-12, I was fascinated in UFO's or Unidentified Flying Objects. Many people have claim to have seen them. My wish is to see one in my lifetime. Do they really exist? I think that people actually do see these "things", and that there has to be another life form out in the universe. What do you think about UFO's and any experiences you have had. I am interested in all of your responses!

I think it would pretty arrogant of our species to think we are the only intelligent (?) lifeforms in the universe.

Yeah, I read up on all that Barney & Betty Hill story and everything. My parents let me stay up late one night when I was a kid so I could watch a PBS "Nova" special on the UFO phenomena.

I'm not so "in to" UFOs anymore and in fact the subject pretty much creeps me out. I like to know about everything and the idea of having a UFO sighting and not being able to confirm that I saw it in the first place would really bother me.

My parents both claim they saw UFOs. My father saw a "flying cigar" and my mother saw a "ball of fire." Personally I think my mother saw a meteor but I have no guess about my father's sighting.

And the X-Files creeps me out, too.

You know what Redngold, I think one night about 3 years ago, my parents let me watch a UFO show and it may have been Nova too!! NO JOKE! I was also scared of them. Whenever I would go to sleep after I would watch a UFO show, I would be thinking about them and aliens. And I would even look out the window of my bedroom every night to try and find one!!!!

I really don't see any problem with people interested in UFO's. We all have our likes and dislikes, and some of us like UFO's. I used to look out the window, but I DON'T anymore. When we are kids, we all do things that we won't today. UFO's are really a mystery that may never be solved. I'm sure people of all ages, races, and beliefs think of UFO's as some unexplained subject and they are curious about them

Best Regards

I've seen plenty of UFOs--until I identified them. Many of them are still not identified. In New Mexico at night often I see exotic looking jets fly over low.

My understanding is that these are aircraft still in the early teething stage, many of them US military, and remain unidentified.

Remember, "UFO" mean just unidentified flying object--nothing more.

Were I developing a flying product in this competitive market I'd test it mostly at night, and fly it low below most detection.

As for spaceships and the like? If they had the technology to reach us they probably would have finally figured out the uselessness of hostilities toward another species. This is counter productive. Then they just might carefully visit us as friends.

Just a thought.

But I think our UFOs are global, and not from "out there."

If there´s another form of life outside our current knowledge and they have the same thought´s and questions like us, well they would be right if they expect the existance of "aliens" , since we are present ()-). But so many factors come into play: time, distance, state of development.... just to name a few. I doubt we will see any evidence soon.
