The NEW BBC Top Gear starts on the 13th November 2005 at 8:00PM GMT on BBC 2.

According to Finalgear.com. A website for Top Gear and Fifth Gear Fans.

There is a banner at the top of their homepage which tells you approximately how long until the new series starts.

At 18:02PM GMT it says.

'Only about 1 week, 5 days, 1 hour, 59 minutes, and 2 seconds until the new season of Top Gear starts!'

YAYERS Big grin

I'm so happy it's on again soon.  Smile

Tom.

I am so happy to hear this news, I've been needing something to do on Sunday evenings as opposed to chatting aimlessly on MSN to random A.netters!  Wink

Sorry guys but I have just been reading FinalGear.com, and there will only be 6 episodes and then Best of Top Gear for a bit, to give JC, RH, and JM a rest from filming etc.

Cause I think they have filmed two series virtually back-to-back.

Tom.

EDIT: I recommend you TG - Fifth Gear fans read the forums etc on finalgear.com to get the latest news, it is a really good source.

That was the best series i've seen during my work in England. Love it.
Now that i'm back i got myself a subscription of BBC prime.
Don't know how up to date these episodes actually are but they're not too old as i haven't seen episodes from when i was over in England.

You really have to thank the British for that gem
especially Jeremy Clarckson and Richard Hammond.
Oh on BBC Prime Top Gear is Tuesdays 8 pm GMT
So i just watched an episode.

Regards
jush

I'll be watching intently for the new episodes...I just hope BBC Canada will be showing the new episodes.

One of my favourite shows, one of the few things I am going to miss since the move stateside.

Any of the US based folk know if it shown on BBC America? Am aware it is shown on Discovery Channel, does it have a regular slot?

It is?!?! To be honest, doesn't matter how fast the car is the roads were limiting the DB9/SLR races.

When I returned from MAD the top gear team were on the flight from LGW to IOM. And I saw them filming in the airport and along the main road past the airport.

They did attract a bit of stick from other pax on the aircraft with comments such as " Ah, Top Gear. I suppose it will pour with rain now for the next week" and " I suppose the Glue Pot will be full of drunks every night for a week". The Glue Pot is a pub in Castletown which the team frequent when they are over here.

They stayed, I believe, at Jeremy Clarkson's place at Langness, a converted lighthouse.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Without a doubt my favourite programme on the box. After the first new programme I'm sure this place will be full of posts. I seriously cannot wait to see that race with the Bugatti. My favourite one was with the Ferrari 612 Scalegti to the Swiss alps. Fantastic

no the Merc SLR vs boats to Oslo was far funnier. Especially the boats breaking down, James May annoying Hamster with lots of nautical sayings and the moment of realisation that clarkson had won, when he turned to the camara and merely said "oh cock"

Personally I'm hoping for another Toyota Aygo football match -that was absolutely priceless Big grin

Just got todays new issue of Top Gear magazine. It outlines some of the highlights of the new series. They were on the isle of man filming a comparison of Aston martin v8 vantage, bmw m6 and porsche 911.

WARNING !!!!!! SPOILER ALERT !!!!!!!

lots of other cool stuff - i won't tell you everything in case you want to be surprised, but i can see real comedy value in them playig remote control cars (with real full sized cars). I won't tell you what make sit even more amusing though.

other highlights = Ausi RS4 against rock climber up gorge
also this time they're given 10,000 pounds to buy three Italian 70s supercars.
Jeremy also tries to beat his Laguna Seca lap time in an NSX on Gran Turismo 4 with the real thing.

Oh and there is one real big twist in the Veyron vs plane race from Italy to london Big grin

Loads more besides......

No the best was buying a car for 100 quid and do funny shitty stuff with them.
Or buy a Porsche for 1000 quid or so and do some exercises including pimping.
Will never forget the shabby bonnet of richard hammond on his porsche and the porsche owners club having a look at it.
Or JC breaking one of his finger cause rushing with his 1 quid volvo through a concrete wall.

Has anyone the DVD Top Gear revved? Is it worth the buy?
