I've had a wonderful relationship with this girl, but I guess all good things must come to an end. It would seem over the past few weeks, I did some mistakes, and, little by little, she stopped considering herself as my girlfriend.
The biggest mistake was probably when I bought that ring. I was crazy enough to offer it to her, and she was crazy enough to accept it.
Anyway, she ceased being my girlfriend last Sunday when we got formally engaged. So, as another crazy Elbonian put it a couple of years ago, my girlfriend is now my fiancee.
Which means in a few months, we shall (les Eaux) be dutifully and legally (and, since I am a right winged Catholic bigot, religioulsy) married.

Funerals are never easy to deal with, especially if they are your own. Buck up, it's not the end of your life, just the end of your life as you know it . . .

Quoting 707CMF (Reply 4): Well, at least, unlike you, I don't know how it is to be married !!! You've been married once, yet you do it again !!!

Quoting Myt332 (Reply 8): Congratulations. Back to Elbonia next year then?
Thanks Alex. However, as much as I love Elbonia, the wedding will take place in Paris, as it is just easier that way (our families both live near Paris).

But then for you it's no sex tout court.
Fool who got his sorry ass dragged to court for not knowing how to use a condom.

Quoting Teahan (Reply 18): That coming from the guy who has never had the opportunity to use a condom.
Fool like you would know. At least when I use condoms I don't rip them up. Also someone is notoriously famous for jumping into bed with a girl during a dinner party.
Quoting 707CMF (Reply 19): Yup. We'll probably have the same songs for the mass as at your wedding
Just wondering is will going to be the stand up comedian at your wedding toast?
