Hey,

Looking for a bit of advice.  Smile

I will be flying to Girona Airport next month and I was wondering if it was quicker/easier to get the bus which connects with my flight to Barcelona or get the train?

Anyone have any advice?

Do they have a train now between GRO and Barcelona? I took the bus last year and was very pleased. The journey takes about an hour and offers lots of great scenery. The bus stop is just outside the terminal at the airport. The bus stop in Barcelona is right downtown and is in easy walking distance of most hotels.

Ryanair737-
I took the bus. As soon as you get off, there's a bus ready to leave within about 30-45 mins. tops! Enjoy the ride. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail me.

Cheers!

Thanks for your advice, I guess I will take the bus then. Is it a bus or coach? Also, can you buy your bus/coach tickets onboard the flight (Ryanair).

It's usually a travel coach, very comfortable. As far as I know, you can't buy the tickets on the flight, but there is a bus ticket stand inside the terminal.

Have a great trip! BTW, there is a great little bar right on the beach (Platja de le Barcelona). Just to the east of the harbour (where the gondolas are).
