I saw one of a commerical on Fox News Channel today promoting Kurdistan, run by the Kurdistan Development Corporation. They have some pretty spiffy commercials, definitely a change from the bombardment of negative news coming from the rest of Iraq.

Same here. Maybe there's an all-you-can-eat buffet stuck in the line.

I guess Emirates will be launching daily nonstop flights from Dubai to Erbil using A330-200s, with the intention of doing a daily double by 2006, or some such thing.

The kurds have had a huge success with media to promote their situation but do not forget that many of them supports the evil terrorist group PKK - Kadek.

I think we should support Turkey instead that have suffered from MANY terror attacks from PKK - Kadek during the last years.

Hmm,
the other Iraq is still supporting a terrorist organization that killed more than 30,000 innocent people. How about getting rid of PKK for good?

I know it 's really compelling to support the underdogs with the sayings like "oh they are the highest number of people without a nation to their own" but they are not a democracy, they are doing ethnic cleansing of Turkomans and Arabs as I write this; they have a very bad human rights track record.

It's amazing how "good" you become when you are sitting on millions of oil reserves..
