Well I can say I haven't seen a compression rejection ever before in my DSLR shooting days..

Ok, it did say noisy sky too (is it that bad..?) but I'm still confused about this whole compression rejection thing... Surely the grainy sky isn't an attribute to compression? And if there is compression, can someone point out where?

Cheers,
Nicholas

I think the noisy sky is a little harsh, it's just about visible if you look for it but you know what this site is like where noise is concerned. There are several recent additions to the database where noise is more apparent than on yours. As for compression, if that was your only rejection reason it would be an appeal for me as i'm struggling to find any compression artifacts.

How much does a 'personal' count towards being a reason per se? Because taking out the personal leaves it with just the compression rejection; which I think I'll appeal shortly..

Thanks Darren

I don't see compression (or a noisy sky for that matter) being a big issue. You should appeal that one.
