Hi All,

Looking for some advise on better centering for this rejection:

I never measure shots for centering, I just look at it for balance and then that's it. Now, that I have got a centering rejection (I normally get rejections for soft and dark, for which I know more or less to improve on it or to forget about it), I would like some advise here. Since my first "looks good" was not good, I would like some advise on "how much" should I change?

Thanks and regards,

Walter

Walter,

It looks pretty good to me as it is, but it may benefit from being a little higher in the frame. I guess that's where the rejection came from.

Looks a little low, and checking the log, there was a personal message included with the rejection indicating such.

Hi Darren, Dana,

Indeed, there was a message that it was a little low in the frame. But what is meant with "a little". As I explained, I always center it based on "balance look" (to me), and since it was stated to to put it "a little" higher, I am seeking some advice to just quantify it a bit better. Just trying to avoid another rejection...

Thanks and regards,

Walter

It's difficult to say how much to raise it in the frame as it's how it looks, but I'd say try reducing the dead space at the top of the frame by about a 1/3 and see how that looks.

Thanks, Darren!

I will give it a try tomorrow.

Best regards,

Walter
