Epten,

It looks soft in places, oversharp in others, but mainly soft on my screen. How sharp was the original? There's some chromatic aberration as well. Be careful with the noise. I wouldn't say there's too much, but it's borderline for here.

Same here, which usually leads me to believe it may have been a bit blurry.

The aberration Darren points out is a pretty good indication that your lens wasn't quite up to the task, either you were shooting at the extreme end of its range, or it was relatively wide open, which would account for the noticeable softness/blur. If that's not the case, the overall quality of the lens might just not be up to par.

Yes, it was shot at maximum zoom and maximum aperture.

How about this one:

This image is below the minimum size, so can't say anything about quality.

Low in frame and oversharpened?

Are you asking if they are correct rejection reasons or for pre-screening? The aircraft isn't low in the frame for me, it's correctly centred and doesn't look oversharp on my screen.

I am asking for pre-screening, about things I am not sure about, like center and sharpen in the last example.

Thank you for your feedback!

Yet another: is it oversharpened and low in frame. Any other issues?

Maybe a touch low, but the bigger problem is the tail is blurry.

Thank you for your response! Do you mean the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer?

No, the whole tail is either blurry, or very, very soft.

Not too bad, just slightly oversharpened/noisy. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to fix it up.

Great shot, I love the angle but it's oversharpened. How sharp was the original? Motion blur can be difficult to avoid at that angle if your shutter speed isn't pretty fast so I suspect there's a little blurriness in the original and you've have to apply a lot of sharpening?

You should probably start your own thread.
