1. This looks oversharp on my screen towards the rear of the aircraft while the nose looks a little soft.
2. Possibly a little heat hazed and oversharp trying to compensate for it?

Photo 1 has no sharp added, except the export sharp.
Photo 2 had just a little bit, but way less then what I used to use.
Something definitly changed with my photos this couple of months to be nedding no sharp.

Please comment on these two. One is a pre-screening and the other a post-screening
Pre-screening:
Following the OS issue I had, this one is the first time i use the sharp slider to the left.

Post- screening:
Rejected by Grainy and Category "Not dark category"
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...001_k1348264662.4461img_0926-3.jpg
Changed the NR, Masking and a little twick on the exposure. However I still have a doubt: Should the Dark category be selected, as the photo was taken after the sunset?

Still a touch os, but might be passable.
If the sun was below the horizon, then 'Dark' was the correct category to select. New version looks a bit dark/soft.

Trying to get it right. Reduced sharp little bit more:

Went back to the 1st version and increased Masking and a bit NR.

Maybe this v2 firmware for the 7D is getting my photos sharper. I don´t know. |

It seems I reduced too much. Just reverted to the previous version
Angola
Increased the NR and sharp. There is some distortion around the reg that I´m having some trouble to fix
Do you see the noise all around?

Mostly in the darker areas, like the grey on the bottom of the fuse.
It still looks soft to me - I'm thinking that you're putting in too much NR now. Also looks quite dark overall.

For level, try to use the verticals in the center of the frame, and keep in mind for the barrel distortion typical with uwa shots the edges should tilt in equally as much. |

For the level,
ajusted on the 1st by the two bars on the top.

Now I leveled by the vertical bars between the blue column and the aircraft.

Museum photography and wide angle lenses are inherently difficult when it comes to levelling. As a rule of thumb, always level using a vertical in the centre of the frame. This averages any barrel distortion. There are plenty of verticals in the background on the window frames so I'd have used those as reference. Having said that, it's what looks right in the end that matters. I get the feel it needs a little more CW rotation. I'd probably give is a little extra sharpening as well.
It is a little sharp on my screen, the cheat lines are very jagged. You may need to selectively sharpen the aircraft and not sharpen the cheat lines. For me, it's not overexposed, that rejection reason is a little misleading. It's just a little too bright for this site. Reduce the exposure a little and you should be fine.

Not sure what is different about it, but the missing wheels will be an issue, as it was avoidable, and it is oversharpened.
