AIRLINERS.NET CREW HEAD SCREENER
Hi Andy,
First one is too dark - pilots' shirts are properly exposed, but the rest of the cockpit is under-exposed. Unfortunately the positioning and crop of the pilots makes this a borderline motive as well. Second could be a bit brighter, but is probably ok as is; the soft right side (dof) also shouldn't be bad enough to cause problems.

Hi Dana!
Thanks for the feeback..I thought the A330 might not make it for movite..I'll yank that one from the Q. Not a whole lot of cabin views of DL DC-9's so I was lucky to have caught that one! Thanks again!

Good morning everyone,
I have a couple of old scans that I thought I'd try to put in the db but would like opinions to see if they'd pass or if they need a little bit more tweaking. Thanks!

The NW is flat and soft, and there's either the remnants of grain that you've tired to remove or jpeg artifacts visible. The JL is better, just needs a little more sharpening. If they're more than ten years old, they will get a little more leniency.

Hi Andy,
The NZ has quality issues - noise, contrast, os, and worst of all it seems heat haze is at play, which generally isn't fixable. The DHL is very low contrast and slightly oversharpened, which may be fixable with a better edit.

Hi Andy,
First is a bit noisy/flat, but should be fixable. Second is overexposed and soft/blurry toward the tail. The ERJ in the foreground will be an issue as well, as technically you should list the info for the nearst fully-visible aircraft, and it's obviously quite blurry.

Hi Dana,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm probably going to keep the DL for the personal collection as i've tried a few edits and I'm just not totally happy with them.. I'll take a look at another edit for the 707. Thanks again!!

Hi Dana,
Thanks for the feedback on the 747.. I didn't get back on here in time to see your reply in order to re-edit it so it was rightfully rejected for being too low in frame. I've re-edited it and stuck it back in the Q. From what I can see the centering is better than the rejected photo.

Thanks Dana.. I edited my original post to show the rejected photo. when I center it I'm going by the top of the fuselage to the bottom of the aircraft wheel. Will have another try at it when I get out of work.

Definitely better; I think the tug is adding a bit of 'weight' to the lower part of the frame. If you are going to put it any higher, it only needs to be a touch. Otherwise, just go with the new edit and see what happens.
