Hi,

Air India's first 787 landed at BOM 2 days ago.

This is one of my Photo links : http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...ady/a1347561604.8772dsc_10991e.jpg

I would like to know if this is good enough ?
Clicked with a Nikkor 18-55mm lens.. so if there is distortion at the sides, its due to the lens.

Probably ok at a smaller size, like 1200 or 1024. As it is, a little soft for 1600 pix. Also better if you can avoid having people in the foreground.

Here is the same shot in 1200px.

is this any better ?

Also, the people were unavoidable in shots... this is the only shot where i had only 2 people in the corner... in the rest of the photos, they were even obstructing the aircraft !! Do u think the people would be a problem, because honestly, they aren't even an obstruction... they are just in the corner... and don't steal the limelight from the dreamliner!

Yes.

No, I was just suggesting that if you had a frame without them, that would be better. If not, this one should probably be ok, as they're not too intrusive.

I have edited another photo... does this look sharp enough in 1600px ?
if not, can u please mark the areas that are over sharpened or under sharpened so that i can re edit it to look almost perfectly sharpened ?

Your chances of acceptance are probably less than 50% if you submit it at 1600 pix. More sharpening won't really help, the quality's just not there for such a large size. At 1200 or 1024, you'll probably be fine.
