I would be mildly pleased if I got the first photo of Interjet at SNA into the database, but the lens I was using is new and really pushes the contrast, and the lighting angle from my position could be better. What do you think? http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7262/8161254282_a655e39933_o.jpg

Interjet is in, thanks for your help! Got pipped to the post by a day or two on their first shot at SNA, but that's alright. At the same time though, I got a rejection for this photo: http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...1fedexexpressfxn166fejohnprice.jpg
On the grounds of softness and distance. Here's my attempt to fix: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8344/8182910822_af37c00d71_o.jpg
If it is rejected for distance again I'll eat my hat but it might still be soft- with this much ground clutter it's hard to select out the parts that need the most fixing so I had to settle for a low-amount unsharp mask on the whole image. Thoughts?
