I'm just a guy. I have always loved aviation, but lately my focus has shifted to music. With music as my career choice, I will be able to make aviation an awesome personal hobby. I play Bass Trombone in five different musical groups (2 Concert Bands, a Jazz Band, A Funk Combo, and one crappy-ass marching band). I am also getting better at playing Bass... which is fun. Composition is quickly coming of interest to me, and I am also working Piano and Guitar skills. Occaisonally though, I will set down the Trombone for a change to auxiliary percussion. I love Congas. That's me attempting to immitate Richard Nixon, standing on the airstairs to a USAF KC-135 from 128 ARW in Milwaukee.
As depicted in my username, I am a fan of WestJet. This is because of the amazing spirit and dedication I've experienced with WS, which is also shown in the videos below. This is the video that gave me my love of WestJet and the B737-200. The video features some low-altitude, high-speed flyby's that were part of the retirement ceremony for WestJet's last 732. It used to evoke strong emotion in me each and every time I watch it. And check out that amazing, steep 'WestJet Pilot' climbout!
