Can anyone shed some light behind the DOT's granting of international route authorities to US carriers. I noticed that some carriers are listed as the following:
Country US Destination
France US All Points
Paris France New York
What is the difference between the two? Is it simply the NY authority was granted before open skies and the France/US authority was granted after open skies?
Thank you in advance
P.S. I am reviewing the US Air Carrier International Route Authority from Nov 2000 to see who can fly where.
