I was considering a purchase, but I'm having trouble getting to the registration page, or gettin METAR data for a demo version. Is it me or them?

I think it would be more useful to e-mail the webmaster of that particular site. While he/she might not answer immediately, he/she can fix the problem!

I have also emailed the site, and because he/she did not answer immediately, I chose to also ask a group of people who might use the software to increase the chance of a timely answer. But thanks for the advice Nick!

What AirNav site are you referring to? The one I'm familiar with (www.airnav.com) doesn't require registration, much less purchasing. If you've found some way to pay for the same site, don't do it.
