I would like to know what the fuel burn of a 737-300 is with about 120 pax and luggage for 1 hours flight, on average. Please indicate in litters or kg and the cost of each litter or kg in US$ or Euro. Thanks.

Hi,
Fuel consumption would be in the region of 9000-10000 litres. Fuel on-board would be much higher as you would have taxi fuel, hold fuel, diversion fuel and reserve fuel.
Calculations depend upon wind direction/speed etc.
Hope this helps.

hi there,
we calculate 2400 kgs/hour avagare fuel flow! but it can be higher due to lots of factors...
Then you have fuel for the alternate, final reserve and some contingency fuel.... for about an hour of flight with all additions we take about 5000kgs of fuel on board (with a little of extra fuel)...
In Germany you have to pay roughly €400 for a ton of Jet A-1...
