I am doing some research and I was wondering what fuel prices were around the country. At my home airport Jet A is $4.67 gal. and AvGas is $4.46 gal.
I was told by one pilot that prices on the west coast were almost $7.00 gal.

I know that prices are constantly fluctuating, but what are the most recent prices where you fly out of?

Thanks for the help!

Try airnav.com. Just type in the airport and it will show the current prices under the FBO section.

DI757md, I tried airnav.com, but most of the prices were really not that current. I know it's hard to get the most current prices because the market is always fluctuating on a day to day basis, but I figured I would give it a shot.

Thanks for the site!

AvGas has not escalated that much lately (not nearly as much, proportionately, as mogas) because the proportion of the price of AvGas which is the actual petroleum is very small, in comparison to the cost of handling and shipping, etc., for such a low-volume product. The price is rising, but not so precipitously as mogas.

AvGas at Addison (KADS) ranges from $3.24 to $3.99/gallon, and is not significantly higher than it was a year ago (i.e., it has been a ripoff for quite some time now). The flowagefees charged by the Town are outrageous.

$2.59/gallon 100LL, $2.50/gallon JetA, at Gainesville (KGLE).

I don't know about GA prices, but I've seen bulk prices ranging for $1.45 to $2.15. Sometimes there is a jump of 30 cents or more from airport that are only 30 miles apart. :/

At the FBO where I work on weekends (5T6) in Santa Teresa New Mexico, 20 miles west of ELP, AvGas is at $3.25 and Jet-A is at $2.97 but will probably go up soon as our wholesale prices jumped again last week. We give discounts ranging from .15 to .25 per gallon for fills over 300 gallons.
