First of all, you need a log-in and a password. The site is password protected your company should have the login details.

MBF Home page

Maintenance Documents

Service Bulletins

Select a minimum of Model (737 etc.) and ATA chapter (say chapter 32) then " Submit form"

It's that simple.

If you need more info give me more detail of your problem and I'll try and help

After Logging in ->
Click Maintenance Documents -> opens Maintenance Documents page.
Click Service Documents -> opens Service Documents Index.
Service Bulletins search has red * symbol,so I go to Service Documents quick search. But the list does not illustrate SBs.

Options provided are:-
All-Operator BOECOM Messages (Technical Issues) (SEARCH NOTE)
Configuration Change Support Data (737-777 only)
FLEET TEAM Digest
Fleet Issues Summary Reports (707, 727-777 only) (SEARCH NOTE)
In-Service Activities Reports (727-777 only)
Maintenance Tips (707, 727-777 only)
Service Letters (AML, AOL, SL)
Structural Item Interim Advisories (707, 727-777 only)

I need to access only SBs.

When I look at the service document index they all have a red * next to the hyperlinks but they still work. Did you click the link?

Personally, I always click the Service bulletin hyperlink on the front page "maintenance documents" or if I want any other document the quick search link.

I've never really needed to click the service document hyperlink so I've never noticed the red star against the options.

Let us know if this works for you.

The Service Bulletin with Red * is non Clickable.
The Service Documents "Quick Search" searches a range of service documents (documents with a ' * ' below), the FLEET TEAM Digest, and the titles of Fleet Issues Summary Reports and All Operator BOECOM Messages.

Hi Mel,
Log on, select Maintenance documents, maintenance documents menu appears, under the heading 'Service Documents' there is a hyperlink to Service Bulletins, clicking on that should take you to the SB search page. I think that's what 'Mender' is trying to tell you.
I agree with him that the links with the red star work, if they don't work for you the possibility exists that your access is restricted and you need to talk with whoever organized your access in the first place.
Just been back into MBF and the red * indicated what documents will be searched during a 'quick service documents' search.
Which you know 'cos I've just fully read your last post !
Your problem may be restricted access - anything I can help with and mail to you ?

Thanks....Thats what I suspect too.Probably access is restricted.Although I wonder why if all other data can be accessed why not SBs.Will get back to concerned about it.

For what it's worth, in my company there are two levels of access to MBF, one is full access to everything, including company specific AMM & IPC, and the other is restricted to the Parts Pages, if you don't need the technical information you don't get it.

My initial access was restricted to Parts and I had to get the lady that deals with such things to get my profile altered.

Don't even mention the trouble I've had with the equivalent Airbus site, that is SO DIFFICULT to access it's unbelievable !

Just to mention...The restrictions were removed & access to all docs on site is possible.
The Maintenance Tips section is fantastic.
Still looking for Mx training videos though.
