You have an A/c on the ramp with Batterys off and APU and engines, you just enter the cockpit and you have to start the APU and bleed to the Engines,
For a 757, A320, A330 and A300 could you please describe in detail the start up procedures from just switching the Bat or Bats on.
p.s - Do one A/c each, or for people who have worked on all or flown on all,do all of them. Cheers it just gives the topic more interest and saves reading to much.

For the airbuses its pretty much the same:
Check battery voltage
Switch bat's on (A320 2b's,A300 3b's,A330/340 b1and 2 and apu bat)
Perform APU loop's test and squib test
Check for APU bleed sw off (A300)
APU master switch on
Check for flap open lt (A300)
Press APU start button
N rise and EGT rise
When APU gen is OK (400Hz,115V) the x-mas tree lites up
N 100% and all parameters ok you can switch bleed on
How did I do? Might have forgot some things but someone will tell.
It was all by heart but on a sunday evening after a hard weekend.....!!!!
All the best

What Latechpilot says is very well covering young people with aircraft on their mind.
Here is a true story.
A young guy (with private pilot cert) got drunk one evening.. Jumped the fence at the airport and got into a DC9 and a B737, Luckily he did not manage to start these planes, he only toggled almost every sw in the cockpit, and did fire off the DC9`s fire bottles.
I can only imagine what would have happend if he had got those engines cranked up..
So wait until you are teached and "allowed" to start an aircrafts engines.

WOW that wasn't the question , and I have been taught start up procedures on aircraft, I was just interested in how it's done on other aircraft, such as AIR START's on most modern a/c, I may be young but isn't this site suppost to teach people? and I believe Latechpilot was having a joke you know Ha ha? Im sorry if this comes across angrily as im not like that but please try and awnser the question and stop looking for other people to back you up, you can start by telling me how it's done on a 737,
