Depends on the job. When I was in maintenance I traveled all the time. Now it has been over two years since i last travelled.

Just because we work for airlines does not mean we travel for work all the time.

Depends on the Department & Grade.
At Mx [Engineering out here] We travel for Major checks,AOG situations,Trainings.
Believe me There comes a time when its gets Boring.
The only interesting part is Rectifying snags on Aircraft  biggrin 
Currently I do just that.
