772 Being Operated To/from 28m Wide Runway?

I cannot quite believe this, but it appears UU regularly operates 772s to DZA (Dzaoudzi, Mayotte), an airport with a 1929x29m runway. What strikes me isn´t the runway length as the flight only goes to RUN (1416 km away), but rather the width of the runway. 28 meters ! Is that enough for a widebody, let alone a 772 ?

Maybe runway has been enlarged, but 2 sources state this runway dimension.

Here´s a pic, not at DZA though, but the capture says the aircraft goes to DZA:

Here are the sources for the runway dimension:

The last source may have a bug though: It says at DZA there is only avgas available, but actually jet aircraft fly there.

The flight can be found on Amadeus.

Happy posting !

The space between left and right maingear on a B777 is 10,97m.
If runway and taxiway are strong and turnpaths are wide enough, there is nothing against a B777 on a 30m runway.

Thanks for your answer.

However, isn´t there a minimum runway width for every aircraft (except emergencies) ?

For example, the A380 needs 45m width+shoulders, a total of 75 meters, or better, 60m+2 shoulders 7,5m wide each.

Isn´t the minimum runway width for a 777, which I believe is a category E aircraft, 45 meters ?

Well, the 380 has four engines and the 777 has two. So no outboards on the 777 that can FOD. Ergo more narrow runway is fine as long as there are no obstacles.
