How Big Are The Overhead Bins On The E-Jets

I checked the Embraer website and they do not give the size of the overhead bins on their 170/190 E-Jets. How much bigger are they than the CRJ 700/900 overhead bins? Can they accomodate a standard roller carry-on? If anyone has the dimension opening clearance and depth (for the LHS and RHS) bins I would really appreciate it.

It's there... It said a 24"x16"x10" bag.

Thanks EMBQA. For some reason I missed that. But I am a bit confused. I checked the Bombardier website and it says the CRJ 900 for example can accommodate a standard carry-on. I thought the CRJ bins are too small for that. Everytime I am on a CRJ, they takeaway my standard roller. Is their website misleading? I have never travelled on the E170/190 I wonder if they force a skycheck as well?

I can tell you this...as a gate agent that constantly works CRJs (200,700,900) the Canadian product is significanty lacking when compared to the NEW e jets (I call it the MMRJ- More Mainline Regional Jet)...the new ejets are much more "mainline" feeling then the "tight" commuter feel of the CRJ...You can stretch an RJ to be the largest plane in the world, still at the end of the day, it will be an RJ!

The E-Jets can fit a 24"x16"x10" bag while the CRJ700/900 can only fit a smaller 22"x15"x9" one.

Thanks for the info Vmcg

Flyboy80, does that mean you don't ask your E-jet pax to drop off their 24x16x10 rollers for sky-check service? I am assuming pax are not allowed to bring their roll-on's to the 700's and 900's.
