Does anyone know where I can get some technical schematics and other technical information on the Cessna 150 aircraft? I have tried search engines but I have not been very successful.

Search engines? Your looking for a plane not an engine! Go to the supply store in your local FBO they will get you a POH (pilot operating handbook) which will answer all your questions!

Hi A40-TY, Buzz here. Well you've run into one of those interesting rules of the Internet: not everything is on-line. Some of it's still in books.
Ianhol has the right idea, go out to the kind of airport that does flight trainig and buy the book. The Cenna Pilot Operating Handbooks have basic schematics in them. If you can't find an airport nearby try buying it on line from Sporty Pilot's shop, or Chief Aircraft supplies.
g'day
