Hi all,

I have traveled most of my life (14 years) on the 747-400, always on the upper deck(yep, just a little spoiled  ). I just recently noiticed on JL that the storage boxes on the sides don't reach down to the bottom, floor level. On other airlines like NW and TG, maybe UA the bins go to the floor. I did realize that this could possibly be an option for airlines, however, there was vents on the side which would explain why it didn't reach all the way to the floor. It was definatly a vent as it was cooler than most flights. I just wanted to ask whether this is an option for airlines.
