Ill be starting my MD82 TYPE RATING very soon. I was wondering if anyone would have a list of the memory items and maybe some simulator callouts.

If you had time I'd suggest you read Fly The Wing by Jim Webb.
Iowa State University Press
ISBN # 0-8138-0545-7
US Library of Congress catalog card # 78-126161
Make a swept-wing pilot of you quicker than just about anything.
More than anything else I'd recommend that you study the actual materials on which you will be instructed and tested. If you get wrong data from some other source you are just out of luck.
Other than that, can't help you much. That was many airplanes ago for me.

Thanks for the info guys..
I wanted to know something else.. is the type rating for the MD80 and the MD82/83 a common rating?
Because I was told that aircrafts we have are with EFIS, but most sim dont have EFIS.. THe dash 8s in my company are both EFIS and conventional. WHen I did the Sim i did the EFis version and then jsut figured out the conventional stuff. Im wondering if I will have any problems.

Well for starters there is no actual "MD-80". "MD-80" is a designation pertaining to the following aircraft:
- DC-9-81 AKA MD-81
- DC-9-82 AKA MD-82
- DC-9-83 AKA MD-83
- DC-9-87 AKA MD-87
As for EFIS, the early "MD-80s" had no EFIS. Later aircraft did, and many (including early SK examples) were upgraded.
