Somebody on Pprune said Wake Island isn't an allowed ETOPS alternate. So what do Hawaii-Japan twins use instead? They have to have something between Hawaii and Guam/Saipan.

Did Midway not expire after all?

Is Majuro still available?

Failing them, about all that's left is Kwajelein's 6700-ft runway.

Looking at the schedules even the 767s don't seem to be detouring too much, even tho they're only allowed 180 minutes-- right? So is it true about Wake?

The only reason I can think of is that Wake Island was slammed by Super Typhoon Ioke back in August, which extensively damaged most of the facilities. Before that, it was closed due to repaving of the runways.

I can't speak about the other islands, but when I was jumpseating on a CO 777 NRT-IAH, the captain had diverted the 777 to Midway a few years ago. So, that should be good...at least to a few years ago.
