I was wondering how some one would find aircraft for ACMI wetlease or charter?
It would need to be a A 320/1 or B 737NG in all economy and in north america
it would be in the winter like around Chrismas vaction fro about 5 weeks

You could contact a company directly, such as Sun Country or Miami Air, or you could contact a company like Apple Vacations, who can arrange for the aircraft for you. Finally, most major airlines also have charter departments. I am not sure which one would product the best price for you.

There are many airlines that have a plane or two availible for charter, you're best bet is probably to start calling around and seeing what you come up with. Websites may help you as well.
An example is Air North often has an HS748 (combi, can be configured anywhere from all-cargo to 40 pax) ready for charters and freight hauls, and if you give them enough notice they can usually set you up with a 737-200Adv, with you're choice of either 8 business class/102 economy, or 4 business class/18 premium econ/90econ, or 120 all-economy. Catering usually comes with all of the above. All you have to do is get on the phone and set everything up.

Considering we chartered a US 734 yesterday for two legs ant it was well over $150,000, I hope you have some serious cash to charter a plane for 5 weeks!

realise that im assuming and hopin that for chartering for tht long is sort of like wet leasing and im assuming the companys will give discounts also because its winter and other wise thell lose money if they keep the planes.
so for example when im talking about that same 2 flights would have been around (guess) 85,000 USD it would make more sense at least

You are aware that the time around Christmas and Thanksgiving are not exactly slack times at the airlines, right?

Most charters come from a charter broker such as Air Consult or Chapman Freeborn. The brokers will contact various airlines to see if they have aircraft available in the size that you need, and the times that you want them. Then the broker will try to negotiate a price. Some airlines are very firm on their prices, $6,000 per block hour, customer pays for the positioning flight, fuel, cabin cleaning at the end, catering, cost to position crew etc. Needless to say this gets mighty expensive and very quickly. Mytravel sends out SITA messages constantly telling people of what they have available, and they also request service as well. Here's one of their requests.

Please contact ATA Airlines (TZ) for your charter/ACMI inquiry. We have 737-800s in either all coach 175pax or dual class 12C/148Y (160 pax) available for this type of work.
