Dear all,

I have received a Fedex shipment today at Liverpool but I was suprised it took a good 4 days for it to arrive. It seemed a bit strange to me as this is not much faster than normal airmail.

I found this weird so would like to share with you guys.
Is fedex renowed to be fast between Asia and UK? I know that HKG is not a hub for Fedex.
Thanks for all your comments.

Sorry not to have more time to research your question but I can tell you that often delays in int'l shipments are due to customs at certain locations and there's nothing Fedex, nor anyone else, can do about it. You can see it departed CDG at 10pm on the 14th for STN (1hr flight) but wasn't released until 5:37pm the 15th. Perhaps later I can look a little deeper...CC

Thanks dude, by the way are you anywhere near in Europe? You told me earlier you are doing a trip to Paris and Manchester a couple of weeks earlier. How was it? Enjoyed?

Great as always. Not on the road at the moment; I'm kicking back with a little time off. I'll see CDG and MAN in a couple of weeks though. Let's hope the weather holds up...CC

IT would be so great if you could offer us some trip reports on your future flights... You know in my life I would not have any chance to go aboard a frieghter and it is so nice to read more on your point of view. But anyway have a great day!
