G'day
I am interested in examples of 747 tech crew airline procedures which have changed due to other aviation accidents or incidents. They don't have to be big, high profile, international accidents. Even small incidents which may have occured on the ramp/ground and led to a policy change.
An exmaple (of a high-profile one) is I believe some airlines have strict rules on minimum CWT quantities and fuel circuit breaker resetting as a result of TWA-800.

A cargo door latch redesign, locking procedure and locked door verification resulted from the lower door separation on the UAL B747 several years back.
