I got a question regarding the afterburner of the General Electric J-93... Was the afterburner used on that design multi-moded, like Zone-1 (Min), Zone-2, Zone-3 (Mid), Zone-4, Zone-5 (Full), or did it have full vernier control like the SR-71's J-58's?

The YJ93-GE-3 (powering the XB-70A) has 5 afterburner power settings:
AB-1: minimum afterburner
AB-2, AB-3, AB-4: stages of afterburner between minimum and maximum afterburner power settings
AB-5: maximum afterburner
