Hey guys/gals!
I heard somewhere that the An-124 is going to be banned from Canada soon because it doesn't meet certain noise regulations. Is that true? If so, when exactly the An-124's are going to be banned? Would this also affect the Il-76?
Thanks in advance!

Most of An-124s are Pt 3 while the older models are Pt 2. Il-76 are Pt 2. So, if Canada is to introduce Pt 3 older An-124s and all Il-76s will be banned. However, An-124 could be excused as it is a very large aircraft.

Being that Bombardier contracts a AN-124 to transport the fuslage's for it's CRJ's from Belfast. I would not think that it would be banned.

Wasilenko is absolutely righ. FYI, there are about 20 An-124-100's in commercial service with Volga-Dnepr, Antonov, and Polet.
There is only one An-225, though.
