A380 POH?

Hi - new to this Forum; not new to flight simulation.

Where can I find a POH (Pilot's Operating Handbook) for the A380? I joined up here mainly because I felt I would be able to do so right on this site but, so far, I have not been able to locate it.

I am interested in the basic flight data for the A380, i.e., takeoff/landing speeds, flap extension/retraction speeds, suggested taxi speeds, suggested climb/descent speeds, etc. - that sort of thing. I plan to fly around the world in my A380, and would like to make up a flight checklist.

Does anyone have any thoughts on where I might be able to find all of this info?

Thanks in advance.

pdmike

I wouldn't be suprised if the A380 features some sort of electronic flightbag, so it may no longer be possible to get ahold of a paper copy of the POH...  Sad

Still, I can't believe that I cannot locate certain, basis information, such as: rotation speed, approach speed, touchdown speed, flap extension/retration schedules, etc.

This site may help you with some of the information you want. It's mainly concerned with the aircraft/airport interface, never the less it could help.

From Airbus. It's an Airbus document...technically, anyone who isn't Airbus or who hasn't bought it from Airbus doesn't have the right to post it online.

I strongly doubt it is available anywhere on a.net, other than a link to somewhere else. Once that happens, I suspect it will be here:

I'd start with the TCDS...it won't have everything, but it's a start. A lot of the stuff you specified is a graph or table, not a specific number. For that you'd need the POH or equivalent.

I guess I am not making myself clear on this one. I have DOZENS of POH's (Pilot Operating Handbooks) which I have downloaded from various Internet sites, which have been provided to me through my virtual airline, etc. I'm not trying to BUILD one of these things, just learn how to take it off and land it for flight SIMULATION purposes only. I am not a real world pilot, nor do I play one on t.v.

I have POH's for all sorts of Boeing jets (737's, 747's, etc.) as well as airliners from other companies, Airbus included. No one ever told me the POH's were "Boeing documents." I just need some info on the A380.

Once again - V2 speed, flap extension/retraction schedules, climb speeds, descent speeds, approach/touchdown speeds, gear down speed - that's about it. I hardly think this is classified or copyrighted information.

If what you have is an actual Boeing POH (aka FCOM or OM) then it says "Copyright (c) Year, The Boeing Company, All Rights Reserved" on the first page.

It's not classified, but the document is definitely copyrighted. The numbers themselves, obviously, are not. I'm not saying the POH isn't out there, just that some people on the forum with access to it have contractual and legal limitations on its distribution.
