CALPilot,

Continental seems like a nice airline to fly for; can you tell me a little about the work environment, etc. I'm thinking about applying to COEx when I get my CPL and some more hours.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your intrest. I think the best way to look at CO is to look at the many industry awards we have won over the last 6 years. The one you are asking about is for the last 2 years we have been named to the Fortune Magazines Best Place to Work in America. Only 2 airlines even made the list us and Southwest. That says a lot for this company.

Now as for COEX you may or maynot know that within the next year it will no longer be a part of Continental Airlines Inc. However, many of the people who work and operate it today and the next will be people who have come from this corporation.

Even though I am very proud of this Airline, we do lag behind in many pay issues when compared to UA,AA,DL, but in some areas we have it really great. Do not limit your quest for flying positions, I sent out nine in 1987, and was hired at the third. Continue to bulid experiece, and learn everything you can.

Best of luck, greg.
