The MD-90 uses the same engine as is offered for the A320 family of aircraft; the V2500, albeit a derated version of it.
My question is when the engine is mounted on an MD-90 do they use the same attatchments? i.e. Is the engine on an MD-90 flying 90 degrees rotated compared to the mounting position on an A320 family aircraft? Does this affect the equipment at all?

Accesories are still mounted on the bottom. The EEC on the other hand is mounted on the top, 12 o'clock position, of the engine. On A320's with the V2500 it's mounted on the side.
