A330 Window Question

Hi, everyone. Ever since I got back form my trip to Germany this summer involving A330s, I have begun wondering if the windows on the rear fuselage really curve upward the way it looks like they do. I tried to see from inside the plane, but that didn't really work. Do they really curve, or is this only an illusion?

Yes, because the curve of the lower aft fuselage Airbus had to angle the aft cabin floor up to allow room for cargo in the aft cargo compartment. Since the floor angles up, so do the windows.

Same thing on the A300, A310, A340 ... it allows more underfloor cargo space.

Wasn't this an Airbus goof up,not catering to the bulk cargo aft section ceiling height issue?
