INS Question?

Can someone of you say for what MSU, CDU and INU are standing for.
I know what to do with the CDU but never heard of the other two.

MSU = Mode selector unit
CDU = Control display unit
INU = Inertial navigation unit

That´s right, but don´t worry, I am a airline mechanic and there is a million abbreviations and sometimes the same abbreviations can mean 10 different things, f.ex. is a FCU a fuel control unit, a flight control unit and so and so on. When i first started it was hell to cope with: " do an OPC on the MCDU of the ADIRU and remember to pull the CB on P37 in EE comp of the AC". I think of normal people hear us talking they must think we are crazy...... Smile
