In the EK system where are the in house EK Line Maintenance bases? Not including the obvious DXB or where there are 3rd party companies tending to the turnarounds. And how many staff at these bases? thx

JFK is a line base for EK.
I have a co-worker who works for line mtx for EK in JFK. He got back from DXB recently for level 2 777 training.
There's about 10 cabin techs and 10-15 give or take 'engineers'.

Who does EK's line maintenance in IAH or SFO? Probably Jett Pro in IAH, and United in SFO????
I imagine it is hard to get and maintain EASA level III certifcation for those types of planes nowadays.

I believe EK has it's own people doing maintenance at SFO. I know I guy that went down there for that, but that has been about 6 months ago.

Interesting, considering that they still have an open posting for Licensed Engineers in the U.S. Which base would it be? Although there is no union, do the staff have base to base bumping rights? Just curious, Reid.
