Which engines and engine versions did Swiss MD-11 had? Did all of the aircraft in LX fleet have the same engines?

PW 4462

As far as I remember, all the same. Except may those planes which came in from LTU. They were for sure also PW4000-Series, but may be a little different version.

Thanks for reply.

I asked this because I flew LX MD-11 in summer of 2004, and I don't know the registration. How can I find out was it ex LTU?

Alex

If it was in summer 2004 it was for sure not an ex-LTU (HB-IWR,-IWS,-IWT,-IWU) because they had left swiss earlier. 2004 was the phase-out of MD11 within swiss. In Summer were only HB-IWA,-IWC,-IWE,-IWI left and if I'm right from mid-July on only IWA and IWE.

Thanks, and I don't think I'll be able to find the registration of my plane (it was ZRH-JNB route), but nevertheless, I don't care so much for the registration.
