HAWK21M, i think that second flight deck shot is actually that of the 2nd generation 737s (300,400 and 500). These have an early EFIS flight deck with 4 CRT screens.

True...the 600, 700, 800 and 900 have glass cockpit...to bad then couldn´t renovate the middle-age like overhead panel.....but Southwest wanted the good old overhead panel for it´s pilots, so that the type conversion would be shorter...

Boeing calls the B737-300/400/500 Series CLASSIC 737s on their website. Most people you talk to u in the field call them the Classics. The -500, but -100 and -200 are generally called FLUFS (Fat little ugly f***s).
But most of us call the -100/200 a piece of ****!!

Most of us hardly call it that, the 737-200 is a very reliable airplane and has been serving the airlines for many years.

The first EFIS equipped Boeing 737 was a -376 (VH-TAF) built for Australian Airlines and subsequently operates for Qantas.
EFIS remained an option for some time. Some airlines operate both, with Ansett, for example, operating a mix of analogue and glass on their B737-300s.

According to Boeing;
737-100/200 :Initial Models
737-300/400/500: Classics
737-600/700/800/900/BBJ: New Generation
However, the -300 has analog engine gauges, while the 400-500 have the early EFIS. You can see EFIS 300's, or analog 400, etc, though.

Don't forget our old -200s fly faster than any 737s out there...

Ooops, thanks for correcting me Cdfmxtech, and sorry HAWK21M, you were right after all
By the way i dont like The 200 being called a piece of s***. Come on man, i think that was the plane which made the 737 popular and we still have a good number of them flying around.
All said the NG flight deck looks cool.
