This there a "ballpark" figure for the number of takeoff and landings around the globe in a 24hr period.? Just airline operation, not private / military  Confused

According to the OAG, the company that processes and distributes schedules for almost all the world's airlines, in 2007 there were 29,560,246 scheduled flights worldwide, or 80,987 individual takeoffs and landings a day.

I don't think OAG handles charter flights so the real total of airline flights would be somewhat higher.
