There are Totally 35 Static Dischargers on a B752.

Eight on each wing/Aileron,Six on each Stablizer/Elevator & Seven on the Rudder/Vertical fin.

However someone told me that their older B752s had 33 Static Dischargers officially certified.

Anyone aware of B752 that have more or less Static Dischargers under "Normal" conditions?

My airplanes have 31 static dischargers installed, We can fly with all missing if you placard the ADF systems, or fly with only 17 installed in 3 of the 5 most outboard positions of each horizontal stabilizer/elevator assembly, vertical stabilizer/rudder assembly, and in 4 of the 5 most outboard positions of each wing.

We had 35 static dischargers but we took them off when we installed winglets on all 124 of our AAirplanes.

Interesting.Any idea why the Winglets did not have static discharger mounts.

Nope, maybe you should ask Aviation Partners.
