I was wondering, does anyone have any information on TEAC Aerospace IFE systems?

I noticed that AA's non-refurbished 752s have Hi8-based overhead IFE systems from them (the refurbished 752s, however, have a Panasonic system). Looking at TEAC Aerospace's website, they don't appear to make any personal IFE systems. I wonder why they didn't go into the personal IFE business. They now seem to be a very small player in the IFE market compared to the four largest manufacturers (Panasonic, Thales, Rockwell Collins, and LiveTV).
