Thanks up front if you can help. I'm trying to ascertain what aircraft was used on a particular flight by Dan-Air in the mid 80s.
Can someone point me to a resource (website, person etc) that might be able to help?
The flight was from Turin > LGW within 48 hours of 2nd January 1987. I'm pretty certain it was a narrow body, and certainly not a 146. This would strongly suggest a BAC-111 or a 727, but I'd like to find out which.
A different question that would provide me the same ultimate goal... in the late 1980s (this would be 1988 or 1989), I flew several internal TWA flights in and out of Little Rock, Arkansas on aircraft with tail mounted engines. These aircraft would nearly always be reversed from the gates using reverse thrust. Assuming they must have been 727s or DC9s, what other info might be needed to confirm the type?
In case you hadn't guessed, I'm trying to find out if I've flown on a 727, but I'm leaning towards BAC-111 and DC9 for the flights mentioned.

You could try the following website www.danair.org, but a lot of the sections are being worked on so they are down at the moment.
You could try e-mail them and you might get an answer.
Could have been a 737-200 or -300 as well, they had them both in '86/87 too...
