Hello and happy new year to all of you .

I need your help for an English technical word .

If you stare at an IRAN AIR , KUWAIT AW , LUFTHANSA 707-300B/C, you will notice that there is a " kind of obilc/ obliteral stripe " on the front part ot the belly . This is tipical to ETHIOPIAN and ALLIA 720B aloso .

How would you call or know the word for this " stripe " ?

Thank you all in advance .

Kind regards

Are you referring to the line from aft of the nose-wheel to above the wing leading edge?

If so, it appears that the bare aluminum of the belly has been painted gray for FOD, or corrosion protection.

Just because I stopped arguing, doesn't mean I think you are right. It just means I gave up!
