Quoting RobertS975 (Thread starter): And if what I read is correct, at 4300 feet long, is this the shortest runway anywhere used by Boeing and Airbus airliners?
Alaska used to fly 727-100 and 737-200 into Dutch Harbor, Alaska and at only 3,900 feet, it was probably the shortest runway used by commercial jet aircraft in scheduled service. It's no longer served so SDU is probably the shortest jet runway now.
