Something I want to know for sure. When you're controlling commercial airliners, they show up using their ICAO code correct? Like Delta flight 1099 would show up as DAL1099. American (AAL), United (UAL), Cathay Pacific (CPA) etc....

I'm fairly sure thats the way it is, but I just want to know for certain.

Yes they do, all flights that have an ICAO identifier appear w/ it on radar and flight strips. Some make sense like UAL=United, other's really don't like BTA=JetLink.

Thanks for the quick response. I imagine there are alot that leave you scratching your head. One I cant understand is Trans World Express = LOF = "Waterski"

That's one that I don't get either. JetLink's BTA kinda makes sense becuase the company is Britt Airways. But, there are a lot that you look at and really need to think about. Like MSR=Egypt Air. Go figure,

Egyptair was Misrair, once upon a time. Wasn't it?
