Good Afternoon aviation experts!

I was wondering if any of you might know the SIDs for Pearson International Airport in Toronto. If you know of any, or of websites that might help me out, i'd like to hear about it.

Thanks in advance,

Hey Speedbird092,

Sorry I do not know the SIDs for CYYZ by heart, but one place to find the SIDs (and STARs) for Pearson is the Canada Air Pilot (CAP 4: Ontario). This is what most general aviation instrument pilots use. It is available from any pilot supply shop, and costs about $17.00. Any online sources for SIDs/STARs are probably subscription-only, and are likely to be costly.

If you buy a CAP, make sure you get the General Pages section also (it should be included, but isn't always). The CAP General Pages tells you how to read SIDs/STARs, Approach charts, and has definitions, Abbreviations, etc.

If you watch, or monitor, the air traffic around the airport, a VTA chart for Toronto is probably a good idea too, they run about $15. These are visual charts, but you can get a good idea of the airspace structure and visual procedures for all TO airports.

There is also an Instrument Terminal Chart, for all major Canadian Airports.

Your User Profile says you are in the Toronto area, the only places I know that would definetly have these are: The Prop Shop, at the Buttonville Airport, or Aviation World. You could probably order these online also.

Hope that helps,

Speebird092: RioSul is right, you should purchase a CAP if you are looking for a lot of details on the SID's.

But in the mean time.... The latest info I have llists four different SID's for Pearson

This is probably old info as it does not mention anything about the newer runway, which I think is 15R-33L

I show 6 SIDs: Lester, Pearson, Toronto, Avro, Douglas, and Bowles. Send me your address and I'll e-mail jpg pictures of same to you.

There might be more, but those are the one's in my AA tailored Jeppesen manual.

try to find the Toronto SIDs at:

they have a selection of SIDs, STARs and other maps and charts for almost every major airport in the US and Europe. You can download them for free! However, you`ll need Acrobat Reader to view them.

good luck!
